The Prayer
painting's dedicated to a rollover accident on the highway.
I prayed for protection, just as it rolled, and God answered my prayer.
The truck stopped upside down. I put my hand on the roof before releasing the
seat belt to drop down.

Details
I took some artistic license with the painting.
The sign in the background on the brick wall, to the right,
reads Turning Point
, right side up.
Turning Point
has two meanings.
First it's time to turn to God.
Second the truck turned upside down.
Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.
(Psalm 107:28 KJV)
Preparation
The painting's prepared from a set of photographs of my vehicle. I created a large drawing with the photographs as reference. However I didn't look at the drawing while creating the sketch. The process was perfect in that everything's a little warped in shape.
The truck was damaged, totalled, however I was fine.
