Messiah Gate

Revelation Chapter 4

After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hearafter... (Revelation 4:1)

The animated door in heaven, with narrated Bible verse, fades in and out with dreamlike ripples. Modeled after Jerusalem's Messiah Gate.

The Messiah Gate, also known as the Golden Gate or Eastern Gate, on the eastern side of the Temple Mount, represents the Shekhinah or Divine Presence, according to Jewish Traditions. The Messiah appeared through the Eastern Gate and will appear again when the Annointed One comes (Ezekial 44:1-3). The Annointed One is the Messiah. Learn about animation preparation.

Fire on the door and clouds in the background were applied with 3ds Max' fire feature. The animation and Bible verse were combined in Adobe After Effects, with Ripple and opacity features providing fade in and out with dreamlike waves.

Surreal

The book of Revelation explains end time prophecy symbolically and literally describing dreamlike visions, clear concepts and puzzling topics. As we see signs of the Lord's return remember, Jesus said, ... lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Luke 21:28 KJV).
