The original image was created with 3ds Max and modified with Photoshop, then wrapped to the inside of a sphere. The animated river of life, with special effects, was generated with WebGL shaders. Shaders cause the water to shimmer as the user views the scene interactively. Frames of the interactive scene were saved in sequence for this GIF animation.
