The animated candle and flame were prepared with 3ds Max. In 3ds Max, footage of a burning flame was mapped to a flat plane. Projection lights render flickering light and shadow on the candle. An elliptical white mask was added with After Effects. The final GIF animation combined frames from After Effects. JavaScript and HTML5 features provide the ability to hear music.
