Water of Life
The following verse inspired the rippling water image.
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes (Revelation 7:17).
Clouds
God grants power to two witnesses who prophesy, in Revelation chapter eleven. The beast, from the bottomless pit, kills the prophets, however God resurrects them. They then ascend to heaven in a cloud.
And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them (Revelation 11:12 KJV).
