About the Graphics

Door in Heaven

The door was modeled after the Messiah Gate, also known as the Golden Gate or Eastern Gate, on the eastern side of the Temple Mount. A set of photographs provided reference material for the Messiah Gate.

Jewish tradition believes the Shekhinah or Divine Presence appeared through the Eastern Gate, and will appear again when the Annointed One comes (Ezekial 44:1-3). The Annointed One is the Messiah. The following Scripture quote references a door in heaven. A voice calls the apostle, John, to come upward toward the door, and hear about future events.

After this I looked, and behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hearafter... (Revelation 4:1)

Artwork Preparation

The 3ds Max fire feature was used to create fire on the door and clouds in the background.

Fire Filled Censer

The fire filled censer is based on the following Bible verse.

And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake (Revelation 8:5).

You may ask, Where can I find in the Bible, the fire filled censer, and other unique visions? Many appear in the books of Revelation, Isaiah, Zechariah, Daniel, and even throughout the Bible. Prophecy and the End of the Age are weaved throughout the text and fit together like puzzle pieces. The Kingdom of God is at hand, through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. If you want to understand Christian beliefs, read the Bible with an open mind.

Artwork Preparation

Visual effects were prepared with 3ds Max's fire effect and violet colored light. The still image presented here was taken from a frame of animation.
